Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp butter
Pastry to be used for lattice-crust
1 & 1/2 c fresh sliced strawberries
2 & 1/2 c red rhubarb; cut into inch slices
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c flour (enriched)
1 & 1/4 c sugar
3 beaten eggs
Instructions:
Combine nutneg, salt, flour, sugar & eggs, stir well. You combine separately berries & rhubarb. Line one 9-inch pie pan w/ pastry then fill it w/ fruits.
You pour egg-mixture over then dot w/ butter. You top it w/ lattice-crust then crimp edges high. Have it baked for 40 mins at four hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
Fill the openings of lattice w/ whole berries.

Rhubarb-Strawberry Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c buttermilk
3 Tbsps chilled margarine
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking-soda
1 & 1/2 tsps baking-powder
3 Tbsps sugar
1 & 1/2 c all-purpose flour
3 c sliced strawberries
6 c coarsely-chopped rhubarb
1 & 1/2 tsps rind of orange
1 & 1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 Tbsps all-purpose flour
1 & 1/4 c sugar
Instructions:
Combine rind, cinnamon, flour & sugar in bowl. You add berries & rhubarb, tossing well. You spread this mixture into 9×13-nch bake dish.
Have it baked at four hundred degrees Fahrenheit abut 10 mins.
Combine salt, baking-soda, baking-powder, sugar & flour in another bowl. Manually cut margarine in ’til mixture appears like peas.
Add buttermilk ’til soft-dough forms. You drop mixture by heaping tablespoonfuls into twelve mounds over hot-fruit filling.
Have it baked for 25 mins ’til top is golden-brown.

Laura’s Strawberry-Rhubarb Bars Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c sugar
6 eggwhites
1/2 tsp juice of lemon
1 c of strawberry slices
4 c of rhubarb; sliced
1 c thick cream
6 eggyolks
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c flour
1 & 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c butter
2 Tbsps of powder sugar
1 & 3/4 c flour
Instructions:
For the crust: You mix sugar & flour together. Blend butter in. You press mixture into greased 9×13″ pan. Have crust baked in preheated oven (350 degrees F) about 10-12 mins ’til golden.
You remove crust then cool. Toss salt, flour & sugar. Have yolks beaten lightly the add cream. Stir this into sugar-mixture. You fold your rhubarb, juice & berries in.
You spread this all over prepared crust then bake about 60 mins at three hundred fifty degrees F. Add sugar gradually then beat ’til stiff-peaks form.
You spread meringue all over rhubarb-mixture then bake for 10-15 mins ’til browned lightly. Cool then slice into equal squares.

Rhubarb-Strawberry Dessert Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Tbsps water
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 c halves strawberries
3 c rhubarb pieces
1 c sugar
Instructions:
Combine 1/3 water, sugar & rhubarb in small saucepan. Heat ’til boiling. You reduce the heat then simmer w/ cover about 5 mins. You add berries then cook them for 2 to 3 mins ’til tender.
Blend 2 Tbsps water & cornstarch then add into rhubarb-mixture. Stir while cooking ’til mixture boils & thickens. You remove it from the heat then chill ’til ready to serve.
