Strawberry Mousse Recipe
Ingredients:
2 envelopes of gelatin (unflavored)
2 c whipped thick cream
1/2 c boiled water
1/2 c ice water
1/2 c wine (white)
3/4 c sugar
1 qt washed & hulled strawberries
Instructions:
Set aside berries to be used for garnishing.
You press rest of strawberries through sieve then add wine & sugar, stirring well then chill. Have gelatin softened in ice water. You then add boiled water, stirring to completely dissolve then cool.
You combine strawberry-mixture & gelatin, beating ’til bit thickened & fluffy. Fold whipped-cream then pour mixture into nonstick 2-qts mold.
Chill for 3 hrs prior to serving.
