Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp butter
Pastry to be used for lattice-crust
1 & 1/2 c fresh sliced strawberries
2 & 1/2 c red rhubarb; cut into inch slices
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c flour (enriched)
1 & 1/4 c sugar
3 beaten eggs
Instructions:
Combine nutneg, salt, flour, sugar & eggs, stir well. You combine separately berries & rhubarb. Line one 9-inch pie pan w/ pastry then fill it w/ fruits.
You pour egg-mixture over then dot w/ butter. You top it w/ lattice-crust then crimp edges high. Have it baked for 40 mins at four hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
Fill the openings of lattice w/ whole berries.
